Adelianos Kampos is located on the North coast of Crete, one of a number of beach resorts near Rethymno.
The town itself which is a short distance from the beach, has many bars, restaurants and shopping facilities with local supermarkets etc.
There is a wide variety of accommodation available.
The main beach at Adelianos Kampos is 500m long and 40m wide, comprising of sand and small pebbles. It has Blue Flag status. The beach has facilities for sun bathing, swimming and is popular for watersports such as sailing, parasailing, water ski-ing, etc.
The Sea Turtle (Careta Careta) nests on the beach so please pay attention to the signs and respect the egg laying sites.
Sea Daffodils, Oleander and Tamarisk trees grow beside the beach.
