Xerokampos is a picturesque beach in eastern Crete, located 103 kilometers south of Agios Nikolaos town and 20 kilometers from Ziros, a hilly farming settlement.
Although there are few pubs and rental accommodations in the surrounding area, tourism has had little impact on the family environment. Delicious Cretan cuisine and calm views of the sea await you at Xerokambos.
The beach is impacted by high winds on some days throughout the summer, but by late August, the winds have died down and tourists may enjoy the crystal blue waters of Xerokambos. The people hold a traditional feast (panigiri) in honor of Saint John on August 29th.
