We had the pleasure of staying at the Ostria Resort and Spa for our recent vacation. We were looking for a luxurious getaway where we could relax, enjoy the sunshine, and indulge in some spa treatments. After much research, we settled on the Ostria Resort and Spa, and we were not disappointed.
Location:
The location of the resort is ideal. It’s situated on a hillside overlooking the beautiful Aegean Sea. The views from our room were stunning, and we spent many hours just sitting on our balcony taking in the scenery. The resort is also just a short walk from the beach, which was perfect for us as we love to swim in the ocean.
Accommodation:
The accommodation at the Ostria Resort and Spa was fantastic. We opted for a deluxe sea view room, and it was worth every penny. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and beautifully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we both slept soundly every night. The bathroom was also spacious and had a large bathtub, which we used several times during our stay.
Facilities:
The facilities at the resort were excellent. The spa was the highlight of our stay, and we indulged in several treatments. The staff at the spa were professional and attentive, and the treatments were top-notch. We also made use of the gym and the swimming pool, both of which were well-maintained and clean.
The resort also had several restaurants, and we ate at each one during our stay. The food was delicious, and there was a good variety of dishes to choose from. We particularly enjoyed the seafood restaurant, which served some of the freshest seafood we’ve ever tasted.
Service:
The service at the Ostria Resort and Spa was outstanding. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome and valued. The staff were friendly and attentive, and nothing was too much trouble for them. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had a wonderful stay, and we felt well taken care of throughout our time at the resort.
Activities:
The resort had a range of activities on offer, and we made use of several of them. We went on a guided hike through the nearby hills, which was a great way to explore the area and get some exercise. We also took part in a cooking class, where we learned how to make traditional Cretan dishes. The class was fun and informative, and we even got to enjoy the dishes we made for dinner that evening.
Overall:
Our stay at the Ostria Resort and Spa was everything we could have hoped for and more. The location, accommodation, facilities, service, and activities were all exceptional, and we would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway. We can’t wait to return to Crete and stay at the Ostria Resort and Spa again.
