My partner and I recently spent a week at The Hotel Kedrissos in Chania, Crete, and we were thoroughly impressed with our stay. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere that lasted throughout our entire stay.
The hotel itself is a beautiful example of traditional Cretan architecture, with a charming courtyard and a beautiful stone facade. The lobby area is cozy and inviting, with comfortable seating options and beautiful art and decor that perfectly captures the spirit of the island. We were particularly impressed with the hotel’s rooftop terrace, which offered stunning views of the city and the sea, and was a great spot to enjoy a sunset cocktail.
Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a large king-sized bed, a beautifully appointed bathroom, and a private balcony that offered views of the city or the hotel’s courtyard. We appreciated the little touches, like the complimentary bottle of water and the daily housekeeping service that kept our room spotless throughout our stay.
One of the highlights of our stay at The Hotel Kedrissos was the exceptional service. From the front desk staff to the restaurant servers to the housekeeping staff, every member of the staff was friendly, helpful, and eager to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We felt like we were truly being taken care of throughout our entire stay.
The food at the hotel’s restaurant was also fantastic. We had both breakfast and dinner at the restaurant, and we were impressed by the quality and variety of the dishes. The menu offered a great selection of traditional Cretan specialties as well as international cuisine, and the presentation of each dish was truly beautiful. We also appreciated the fact that the restaurant had an extensive wine list, with a great selection of local and international wines to choose from.
The hotel’s rooftop terrace was another highlight of our stay. The terrace itself was spacious and stylish, with plenty of comfortable seating options and stunning views of the city and the sea. We loved spending our afternoons lounging on the terrace, enjoying the beautiful views and sipping on cocktails from the rooftop bar. The hotel also had a small fitness center, which allowed us to keep up with our exercise routine even while on vacation.
The hotel’s location in the heart of Chania was also a big draw for us. We loved being able to step out of the hotel and explore the historic neighborhood, with its beautiful architecture, charming shops, and excellent restaurants. The hotel was also just a short walk away from the waterfront, which made it easy to explore the harbor area and take in the beautiful views.
Overall, we would highly recommend The Hotel Kedrissos to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming stay in Chania, Crete. From the traditional architecture and luxurious accommodations to the exceptional service and fantastic amenities, every aspect of our stay was absolutely perfect. We can’t wait to go back and stay there again!
