We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Elounda Palm Hotel & Suites in Crete. We were looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway, and the Elounda Palm Hotel & Suites exceeded our expectations in every way. From the beautiful location to the exceptional service, everything about our stay was perfect.
Location:
The location of the Elounda Palm Hotel & Suites is fantastic. It’s situated on a hillside overlooking the beautiful Mirabello Bay, and the views are breathtaking. The hotel is just a short walk from the beach and the charming village of Elounda. The location is also convenient for exploring the surrounding area, including the ancient ruins of Lato and the beautiful beaches of the Lasithi Area.
Accommodation:
The accommodation at the Elounda Palm Hotel & Suites was outstanding. We opted for a sea view suite, and it was worth every penny. The suite was spacious, well-appointed, and beautifully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we both slept soundly every night. The bathroom was also spacious and had a large bathtub and a separate shower.
Facilities:
The facilities at the Elounda Palm Hotel & Suites were excellent. The spa was the highlight of our stay, and we indulged in several treatments. The staff at the spa were professional and attentive, and the treatments were top-notch. We also made use of the gym and the swimming pool, both of which were well-maintained and clean.
The hotel also had a restaurant, and we ate there several times during our stay. The food was delicious, and there was a good variety of dishes to choose from. We particularly enjoyed the seafood dishes, which were incredibly fresh.
Service:
The service at the Elounda Palm Hotel & Suites was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome and valued. The staff were friendly and attentive, and nothing was too much trouble for them. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had a wonderful stay, and we felt well taken care of throughout our time at the hotel.
Activities:
The hotel had a range of activities on offer, and we made use of several of them. We went on a boat trip to the nearby island of Spinalonga, which was fascinating. The island has a rich history, and we enjoyed exploring the old fortress and learning about its past. We also went on a guided hike through the nearby hills, which was a great way to get some exercise and take in the beautiful scenery.
Overall:
Our stay at the Elounda Palm Hotel & Suites was everything we could have hoped for and more. The location, accommodation, facilities, service, and activities were all exceptional, and we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway. We can’t wait to return to Crete and stay at the Elounda Palm Hotel & Suites again.
