We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Casa Delfino Hotel & Spa in Chania, Crete, and we were blown away by the experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and impeccable service that lasted throughout our entire stay.
The hotel itself is a stunning example of traditional Cretan architecture, with beautiful stone walls, intricate woodwork, and charming courtyards filled with fragrant flowers and lush greenery. The attention to detail is evident in every corner of the property, from the carefully selected antique furnishings to the beautiful art that adorns the walls.
Our room was spacious and luxurious, with a comfortable king-sized bed, a beautifully appointed bathroom, and a private balcony that overlooked the hotel’s courtyard. We appreciated the little touches, like the complimentary bottle of wine waiting for us in our room and the nightly turndown service that made us feel truly pampered.
One of the things that really set Casa Delfino apart from other hotels we’ve stayed in was the exceptional service. From the front desk staff to the restaurant servers to the spa therapists, every member of the staff was friendly, helpful, and eager to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We felt like we were truly being taken care of throughout our entire stay.
Speaking of the restaurant, the food at Casa Delfino was absolutely delicious. We had both breakfast and dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, and we were impressed by the quality and variety of the dishes. The menu offered a great selection of traditional Cretan specialties as well as international cuisine, and the presentation of each dish was truly beautiful. We also appreciated the fact that the restaurant had an extensive wine list, with a great selection of local and international wines to choose from.
The hotel’s spa was another highlight of our stay. We indulged in a couples massage, and it was one of the best massages we’ve ever had. The therapists were skilled and professional, and the spa facilities themselves were top-notch. We loved the fact that the spa had a sauna and steam room, which allowed us to relax and unwind even more after our treatment.
The hotel’s location in Chania’s Old Town was also a big draw for us. We loved being able to step out of the hotel and wander the narrow streets of the historic neighborhood, admiring the beautiful architecture, browsing the shops, and stopping for coffee or a snack at one of the many cafes and restaurants. The hotel was also just a short walk away from the waterfront, which made it easy to explore the harbor area and take in the beautiful views.
Overall, we would highly recommend the Casa Delfino Hotel & Spa to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable stay in Chania, Crete. From the stunning architecture and luxurious accommodations to the exceptional service and fantastic amenities, every aspect of our stay was absolutely perfect. We can’t wait to return to Casa Delfino and experience its magic once again.
