We wanted a comfortable and convenient place to stay that was close to the town center and had easy access to local attractions. After researching several options, we settled on the Lato Hotel, and we really loved it.
Location:
The location of the Lato Hotel is excellent. It’s situated in the heart of Ag. Nikolaos, just a few minutes’ walk from the town center and the picturesque Lake Voulismeni. The hotel is also within easy reach of several local attractions, including the ancient ruins of Lato and the beautiful beaches of the Lasithi Area.
Accommodation:
The accommodation at the Lato Hotel was comfortable and clean. We opted for a standard room, which was spacious and well-appointed. The room had a comfortable bed, a TV, and a balcony with a view of the town. The bathroom was also clean and had a shower.
Facilities:
The facilities at the Lato Hotel were good. There was a small gym on-site, which we didn’t use, but it looked adequate for a basic workout. There was also a rooftop bar and restaurant, which had excellent views of the town and the sea.
Service:
The service at the Lato Hotel was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They were happy to provide recommendations for local restaurants and activities, and they were always available to answer any questions we had.
Activities:
There are plenty of activities to enjoy in the area surrounding the Lato Hotel. We went on a boat trip to the nearby island of Spinalonga, which was fascinating. The island has a rich history, and we enjoyed exploring the old fortress and learning about its past. We also visited the nearby ancient ruins of Lato, which were fascinating. The ruins are well-preserved, and it was interesting to learn about the history of the area.
Overall:
Our stay at the Lato Hotel was very enjoyable. The location, accommodation, facilities, service, and activities were all good, and we felt that we got excellent value for money.
