We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Kastro Hotel in Heraklion, Crete, and we cannot recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the hotel’s charming and authentic atmosphere, which perfectly captured the spirit of the historic city.
The hotel’s location was simply perfect, situated in the heart of the city and within walking distance of all the major attractions and restaurants. We loved being able to explore the city on foot, and the hotel was the perfect home base for our adventures.
Our room was absolutely stunning, with beautiful traditional decor and a cozy, intimate atmosphere. The room was impeccably clean and well-maintained, with all the amenities we could need for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we slept like babies every night.
The staff at The Kastro Hotel were simply amazing – friendly, welcoming, and always willing to go above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. They offered us personalized recommendations for local restaurants and attractions, and even arranged for a private tour of the city for us.
One of the standout features of the hotel was the beautiful rooftop terrace, which offered stunning views of the city and the sea. We spent many evenings sipping cocktails and watching the sunset from this stunning vantage point. The terrace also had a beautiful jacuzzi, which was the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring the city.
The hotel’s restaurant was also a huge highlight of our stay, serving up delicious local cuisine made with fresh, seasonal ingredients. We had some of the best meals of our trip at the hotel’s restaurant, and we loved the cozy, intimate atmosphere.
Overall, we cannot recommend The Kastro Hotel enough. It truly exceeded all of our expectations and made our stay in Heraklion unforgettable. The combination of authentic charm, fantastic amenities, and personalized service made it the perfect place for a romantic getaway or a relaxing vacation
